Michael Kimondo is the Executive Director of Asset Management at Fusion Investment Management. With more than nine years at Fusion, he has played a central role in developing the Group’s liquid markets, wealth, and pension fund management capabilities across East Africa.

He oversees Fusion’s Liquid Markets Investments activities, including investments in quoted markets, fixed income, and money markets across the region. He is also responsible for wealth and pension fund management, local fundraising, and the Group’s investor relationships in Kenya.

Michael initially joined Fusion as Finance Manager at Fusion Capital before moving into the Treasury function at Fusion Investment Management. Before joining the Group, he worked as an Accountant at Laborex Europharma (Kenya), a subsidiary of CFAO, and briefly practised as an Audit Assistant.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Nairobi and is a Certified Public Accountant (Kenya). He is currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Nairobi and is a member of ICPAK, ICIFA, and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
