Gal Baking Services Ltd (GALBS) was formed in the year 2005 to take over Gal Services a sole proprietorship venture that was up for sale. Building from the sales experience of one of the directors’, demand quickly grew and the business undertaken In 2005 from a servants quarter building moved out to 1000sq ft of a rented premises in Ngara area of Nairobi.

Their products include queen cakes, birthday cakes, block flavored cakes, pastries and bread. They have expanded production capacity, acquired retail outlets within the CBD. Currently they are supplying the key retail chains in Kenya including Nakumatt Holdings Ltd, Tusker Mattresses Ltd, Ukwala supermarkets, Khetias and Yako supermarkets ltd.
