Kenya’s real estate market is the most lucrative in Africa, attracting investors from China, India, London and, lately, South Africa’s Pam Golding Properties.

We believe that Fusion has chosen a safe sub sector within the residential housing i.e. the middle class housing. In our view, the middle class housing market which is supported by the burgeoning middle income population, will outlast the affordable housing and the high end housing market. Kenya remains cushioned against the possibility of a real estate bubble which is normally caused by low bank interest rates, variable rate loans and easily obtainable mortgages. In our case, the interest rates have been in the rise and the standards of lending remain tight.
